Chapter 2 of Pixels brings several updates, including a reorganization of the skills system.
Skills such as "Granger," "Aviculture," "Slime," "Pet Care," and "Fishing" have been combined into broader categories like "Animal Care," simplifying the player's career progression.
Additionally, crafting industries like farming, cooking, woodworking, metalworking, stonemasonry, mining, and logging now have multiple levels, expanding crafting possibilities and adding over 100 new recipes.
Enhanced NFT System and Speck for Farming Lands
The Chapter 2 update also includes significant changes to Specks, the personal land plots in the game.
Each player starts with a basic Speck, which includes a level one house, trees, soil plots, and a mine. As the player progresses, they can upgrade their Speck up to five times, gaining additional land area and the ability to place higher-level productions.
On the other hand, players owning Farm Land NFTs receive extra privileges, allowing them to place productions according to their skill levels, up to level 4. These NFT lands come in various sizes to accommodate different gameplay strategies.

Earning $PIXEL tokens remains an integral part of the gameplay in Chapter 2. New players can start by visiting Karen in the plot office at the town square to create their Speck.
Players continue to fulfill orders to earn coins and $PIXEL, with quests now displayed on the quest board in the Speck house rather than in Buck's Galore. These quests often involve crafting various goods and items.
