At the Foundation Marketplace auction, a talisman NFT belonging to the popular meme coin Dogwifhat ($WIF), based on Solana, was put up for sale. As a result of the trading, this talisman was sold for an impressive amount - 1,210,759 ETH, equivalent to $4.3 million.
The event sparked significant interest among auction participants, which was reflected in active trading, culminating three days after the announcement of the sale by the South Korean owner. Ultimately, the talisman was acquired by Gigantic Rebirth Ventures.
The NFT contained a description explaining how a photo of Achi in a small hat became an internet phenomenon and won the hearts of many people under the name $WIF.
